In the middle of March 2020 the Philippines, Cebu in particular joined the community of quarantined areas. Everything went into a pause - educational institutions and a lot of industries were forced to shut down operations. Everyone has to stay at home.

While all countries all over the world have been struck with the pandemic, different views of what’s happening have been circulating all over the world. A wide aspect of it is leaning towards the cleansing of the earth, the premonitions of a decadal plague and a lot of other speculations that led to an uproar of COVID19 topics all over social media sites. This even includes global politics and the controversial “cold war” between China and the United States.

While all over the globe is having a shock of this unknown enemy, I have been retreating and contemplating on the setbacks it has done for me and my family. Yes, I still have work. I am paid full while working at home. I am blessed while others have to rely on the government’s aid for their daily food intake. Somehow, I took consideration that probably the Heavens above have something to tell the people. With most of the people stuck at their own homes, they were able to catch up with their family members, ignite their other interests, and retreat from the worldly allures of this current time. I get to revisit my love of social media platforms, making it profitable and innovative and I get to do my random thoughts into writing. Reports have stated that mother earth has slowly healed during the pandemic period. Skies turned blue again and waters flowing are cleaner.

An opinionated thought on the most struggling era of 2020 - the Covid19 Pandemic that hits the world on different levels.
Freelancing on this Pandemic Era

At times I come to ponder, maybe it is time to take a break from being so busy with all these worldly commitments and time to look back, evaluate and re-evaluate if the purpose of our lives have taken a stride or have gone astray. It is true enough that mortalities are high and this is not a common flu that subsides within a reasonable period of time. It is constantly mutating its strand. Even until now, the Philippines in general is increasing its number of cases. But for a brief moment, an eerie question comes to mind, is it really the pandemic that is hurting the world or is it the other way around?
